When you grow up with two grandmothers, two great grandmothers and a mom who cook like the women in my family, you can’t help but fall in love with food. The women I look up to most in my family took such pride in preparing and serving special meals – not just on holidays but as an everyday occurrence.

Hi, I’m Dawn, an Instant Pot fan much like yourself! I love tinkering in the kitchen, trying to figure out the best recipes for my family that are delicious, easy but most importantly healthy. My day job in the fitness industry keeps me busy, working varied hours seven days a week which means I need to efficiently plan our weekly meals to make sure they fuel our bodies properly and are easy and fast to cook! Our Instant Pot lives on the countertop we use it so frequently!

I’m a fitness enthusiast and very interested in fueling my body with healthy meals. I teach at a local fitness facility several times a week and coach on healthy nutrition as well. My goal for this site is to provide you with unique, delicious and healthy Instant Pot recipe choices so you can feel good about what you’re preparing for your family!

My travels around the world have opened up new cuisines and flavors we incorporate often into our menus. I love spicy Indiana food, and desperately wish I could get the tiny lime-like calamansi fruit from the Philippines here in the states! Our standard weekly menu almost always features at least one Mexican-inspired dish, and enjoy the hearty German flavors we experienced while in Switzerland.
